When you have concerns or questions, you have a range of choices for support. Discrimination and Harassment Resource Coordinators, appointed by the Dean of each college and school, serve as key community members who receive concerns and provide guidance related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. They may also help facilitate informal resolution. Discrimination and Harassment Resource Coordinators are often the most appropriate initial point of contact for individuals with concerns in these areas, as they have extensive knowledge of the resources specific to their respective school or college.
Students can speak with others with whom they are comfortable, such as residential college deans or the school’s dean of student affairs.
If you would like to speak with someone about sexual misconduct or gender discrimination, you may reach out directly to the Deputy Title IX Coordinator in your school (who in some cases may also be the Discrimination and Harassment Resource Coordinator) or visit the Title IX at Yale website.
For information on reporting discrimination or harassment other than gender discrimination or sexual misconduct, visit the Resources for Resolution section.
